Being one who sells business development solutions, I would like to chime in and say that in the A/E/C market 'subcontracting' is the norm.<BR/><BR/>GC's typically do only about 20% of the work themselves...they 'sub out' the rest. <BR/><BR/>I have been in this industry for 20 years and I have yet to meet an architect or contractor who started their business because they wanted to be in sales.<BR/><BR/>If you need help building your business it makes sense to hire someone who is an expert.<BR/><BR/>I promise you, if I need to build a brick wall or run some wiring, I won't do it myself.
