In today's Construction Marketing Ideas newsletter I framed a survey question:
similar to the on-going poll question,
"How do you attract most of your new business?"
The answers to both questions remind us that our marketing focus should be on our current and previous business relationships -- maintaining and enhancing trust and respect from the people who know us.

And when it comes to future or new business relationships -- essential to ensure the lifeblood of our businesses, the answer is "giving" not "selling". Here is an effective example of community-spirt and sharing from Thunder Bay, Ontario, initiated by Gary Prezio of Prezio Electric Ltd.
We will be publishing this advertisement in Northern Ontario Construction News at no charge (It also appeared in the plans report from the Construction Association of Thunder Bay.)
